One, two, three lift-off! Yorkshire students think rocketry rocks.

Students learn the economics of life through hands on
experiences in Junior Achievement.

Through Mural Painting, Yorkshire students do just that.

A set design student laying down on the job (literally).

Students, having learned the basics of television news,
present their own newscast.

The ACE Program: Academics, Creativity and Enrichment

Yorkshire Academy has further expanded its commitment to enrichment opportunities with the introduction of the ACE program. ACE began four years ago for our Upper Elementary (third to fifth grade) students, and gets better every year.

Every six weeks, students choose from several classes that meet Wednesday afternoons for a 1.5–hour block. These multi-age classes expose students to new areas and experiences they might not otherwise have a chance to explore. Parents enjoy student presentations given at the close of each ACE session.

By engaging students in interactive learning about subjects of personal interest, the ACE program is an unbridled success!
